Grandma's French Toast Recipe

Serves: 3 servings
  • 3 large eggs
  • 6 slices of white bread
  • ⅓ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  1. In a large bowl, beat eggs and whisk in vanilla, milk and cinnamon.
  2. Dunk pieces oh white bread into egg mixture quickly so that both sides are coated, but not completely soaked through.
  3. Spray griddle or pan with non-stick cooking spray and set heat to medium.
  4. Add bread with egg mixture gently and let cook on each side for about 1-2 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Serve with butter and maple syrup
