Country Slow Cooker Ribs

Serves: 6 servings
  • 3 lbs. (approximately 2 slabs) of baby back pork ribs
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 2 teaspoons allspice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ¾ cup water
  • 1½ cups BBQ sauce
  1. Cut ribs into sections or 2-4 ribs each.
  2. Mix dry mustard, allspice, salt and pepper and rub into all the ribs. Work it into the meat well!
  3. Place ribs in slow cooker and pour water over ribs. Set slow cooker to low and let cook for 8 hours.
  4. Remove ribs from slow cooker and discard water. Pour BBQ sauce into slow cooker and place ribs back in, coating well with the BBQ sauce. Let cook 1 more hour on low.
  5. Optional Step: Place ribs on a foil lined pan under broiler for 5 minutes to caramelize the sauce and add a bit of char to the ribs.
