Chicken Pepper Gravy

Serves: 3 cups
  • 2½ cups of whole milk
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1½ teaspoons salt
  • 1½ tablespoons coursley ground black pepper
  1. Melt butter in a heavy sauce pan over medium heat.
  2. Whisk in flour until it turns light brown and then slowly add milk and continue stirring until smooth.
  3. Add salt and pepper, stir, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
