Tuna Bisque

Ingredients
  • 1 oz. cornflour
  • 2 oz. milk
  • 1 pint (2½ cups) water
  • 4 oz. (1 cup) semi-matured Cheddar cheese, grated
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 17 oz. can chunk-style tuna
  • Freshly chopped parsley
Instructions
  1. Blend cornflour, milk and water till smooth.
  2. Bring slowly to boil stirring constantly.
  3. Add cheese and seasonings away from heat. Stir till melted.
  4. Add tuna.
  5. Serve garnished with parsley.
