Cocktail Sauce Recipe
The recipes vary considerably by region, so try different combinations of flavors you enjoy and come up with your own version. Here is a base from which to begin:
  • 2 tablespoons of horseradish
  • 1 lemon
  • ½ cup of ketchup
  • Tabasco sauce, to your taste
  1. In a small bowl, add ketchup, a squirt of lemon, a dash (or two) of Tabasco sauce, and a dash of Worcestershire sauce. Blend well and chill the sauce for a while.
  2. Your homemade cocktail sauce will be ready to serve when it has cooled. Serve with seafood, especially shellfish, for the best results.
