There’s nothing quite like sitting around a campfire on a summer night and making delicious, chocolaty, gooey s’mores. They’re so good, so sweet and are a must for anytime you’re enjoying a campfire.
So what exactly is involved in making s’mores? It’s quite simple actually, you need some chocolate bars, some graham crackers and marshmallows. That’s it!
You may find all sorts of strange devices on the market for making s’mores but none of them are necessary or work very well. In fact, all they do is make a big mess that’s hard to clean up and then they collect dust in the garage. Some metal skewers or a good old fashioned stick (which you’ll clean off before use of course) and some paper plates and you’re all good to go.
Hershey bars make excellent s’mores are my favorite to use. Feel free to use your favorite milk chocolate bars. You can also use dark chocolate for a deep, rich flavor and even white chocolate for a unique, smooth flavor.
- Chocolate bars
- Graham crackers
- On a paper plate layout graham crackers with a half of Hershey bar on each. Have another graham cracker ready to be the "top" of the s'more.
- Roast marshmallows over campfire and place 1 each on chocolate.
- Add top cracker and enjoy!
